So Im sitting here after being told for the 100th time that I need to blog for my business to be successful. So - this is a blog about blogging. To be honest it’s definitely not my strong point and actually I have come feel really irritated at being told that I need to blog for website traffic!
Not only do I find reading mosts peoples blogs a little boring but I feel like most blogs are about either how to succeed in blogging so that you can rake in the $$ or are just pointless ramblings and that people can see right through!
Where has the authenticity gone? it seems to be all about the numbers - monthly traffic - keywords - how many followers you have - how many posts you do per day! AND now tik tok, reels Fb Live and its all about putting yourself out there in a video - Jezus thats the last thing I want to do.
Damn it, I don’t want to have to think about SEO, web traffic and social media followers when I’m trying to provide a creative and authentic service to my clients…. it eats away at my enthusiasm for doing what I Love - and as a fine art photographer I can tell you that its not writing! (Did I need to put some kind of link there??)
